PRICING FAQ
The questions we actually get.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancel from your account page — no email, no ticket, no penalty. Your data stays in your account until you delete it.
Does Instica take a cut of my sales?
No. We charge a flat monthly subscription. We never take a percentage of what you sell, on any plan.
What counts as an item?
Each inventory record counts as one item — whether it's a draft, an active listing, or a sold record you're still tracking for cost basis.
What happens if I go over the item limit?
We'll notify you before anything breaks. You can archive old items to stay within the limit or upgrade to the next plan. We don't auto-upgrade or charge overages without your action.
What happens after the 14-day trial?
After 14 days you downgrade to the permanent Free plan. Nothing is deleted, and your first 25 active listings stay editable. Listings beyond 25 become read-only until you add Operator or Studio, and CSV export always works. No charge happens silently.
Can I export my data before cancelling?
Yes. CSV export is available on every plan. Export your full inventory and sales history from the account page at any time — no cancellation required.
IF YOU'RE STILL UNSURE
"I'm not sure I need this yet." Start the 14-day trial. No card. If you have a single oversell in the first two weeks, Operator has already paid for itself twelve times over.
"I'm already using Sellbrite / Vendoo / spreadsheets." We import from all three. Your eBay and Shopify connections stay live during migration. The switch takes under ten minutes.

—A percentage of your sales. We charge a subscription, not a commission.
—Per-listing fees. List as many as your plan allows, no overage per item.
—Paywalled exports. CSV stays available even if you pause after the trial.
—Buyer PII storage. We don't store it. We can't be breached for data we don't have.
—Paid cancellation. Cancel from your account page at any time with no penalty.
—Dark patterns on downgrade. Your data stays intact when you move to a lower plan.
